Each cheesecake is prepared in our San Jose, CA bakery using all-natural, real California cream cheese, combined with quality fruits, house-made vanilla, and fine chocolates to create a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth taste.

And for the cheesecake lovers in my life; they only want Charlie's. Super sweet dad and son duo. Even waited for me after hours once due to traffic.  Verified Charlie's Cheesecake Works has been my go to place for cheesecake since they have been opened!  I like cheesecake with a "thick" texture, not mousee like.  Good variety of cheesecakes offered and if you want to sample a variety, go for the "poppers" which comes in a 12 pack of different flavored cheesecakes.  Think of poppers as a mini cupcake.

 Verified I've been coming since they first opened in 2002, as it's just right down the street from me. It's as good now as it was then. I now bring my own kids there  and despite being picky eaters (and  not liking other cheesecakes), they adore his.  Verified I have had Charlie's cheesecake poppers they are delicious  great for picking up a lite dessert and if you get the variety flavor pack if your going to bring a dessert for bbq or potluck party, easy to stop by pickup a 1/2 dozen or dozen to take that way everyone gets to try a different flavor

 Verified My husband and I finally stopped by after so many years. We had first discovered Charlie's Cheesecake Works when they sold their assorted cheesecake poppers at Costco. We were surprised to find out that they stopped selling to Costco 5 years ago. It's been such a long time!

The staff member greeted us when we entered. The menu was straightforward. There was one menu for flavors and another menu for sizes and prices. 

Since it was a while since we tried their cheesecakes, the staff member offered us cheesecake popper samples. I tried the Silicon Valley classic (ie. Classic New York), and my husband tried the blueberry. We took a bite of each other's picks. The cheesecake bites were fresh and really hit the spot for our cheesecake craving.

We ended up buying a bambino in Silicon Valley classic flavor, since it was perfect for sharing. The staff member helped gave us storage tips for the cheesecake, since they don't use preservatives (additional plus in my book). We'll be back the next time we have an event!

They share a parking lot with a corner mart and other small shops. Parking is typically plentiful when we've driven by.

Our Poppers are always here and ready to go. If you want a large order, we would appreciate a day’s notice. Otherwise, just stop in, and we will take care of you.

Yes, all of our Poppers, Bambinos, and standard 9″ cakes are made with a shortbread cookie crust.

You can get our cheesecake delivered locally using DoorDash, Uber Eats, or GrubHub. For larger catering orders, you can find us on EZ-cater.

All of our cheesecakes are made without preservatives. Our shop freezer is kept at around 0°F to maintain freshness. For best enjoyment, let the cheesecake sit out for 10–15 minutes before serving. It can remain at room temperature for up to 4–5 hours. Just return it to the freezer afterward, and it will be as good as new.
